About The Job
The MRF Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a state‑of‑the‑art Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), ensuring optimal production efficiency, cost control, and a strong commitment to safety. This role plays a key part in leading a highly automated recycling operation, leveraging advanced technology to manage and monitor plant performance. The facility is one of the most technologically advanced recycling operations in North America, featuring 90% automated processes, cutting‑edge optical sorting technology, and fully integrated systems that enable plant‑wide management through tablet‑based controls within a modern, state‑of‑the‑art environment.
The position works 2nd shift (starting at 1:30 PM), Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays. The position may be hired at a level I or Level II based on background and experience.
- Manages daily plant operations and maintains inventory for safety and operation supplies.
- Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manages plant logistics and materials; supervises daily production; enters finished goods into inventory; orders supplies as needed.
- Supervises production staff and coordinates workflow and assignments toward the achievement of operational goals.
- Oversees operations personnel needs including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
- Investigates, reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Creates and submits weekly and month end reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- Four (4) to six (6) years previous experience (in addition to education requirement)
Preferred Qualifications
- Mobile Equipment Operator, CPR First Aid
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Solid background with Technology

PayThe expected base pay range for this office/on‑site position is $66,946 – $81,301. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
