Job SummaryThe Electro-Mechanical Assembler will build electrical and mechanical assemblies per established procedures and work instructions.
Primary Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical parts, as instructed in accordance with manufacturing documentation into sub-units or complete units.
- Wire electronic components per manufacturing documentation into sub-units or complete units.
- Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units, including sub-assembly, process assembly, inspection, modifications, upgrades, and rework.
- Complete production/quality related documentation.
- Perform cable and panel wiring.
- Perform work in accordance with quality and engineering standards.
- Inspect and test own work before moving to the next routing step.
- Keep work area clean and organized to present a professional environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible to apply for the appropriate export control license.
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Overtime required when needed.
- Electro-Mechanical experience with schematic reading and comprehension (mechanical and electrical).
- Proficiency with measuring tools: multimeters, continuity testers, tape measure, calipers.
- Proficiency with hand tools: wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, small power tools.
- Associated degree in an electronic field (preferred).
- Certifications (preferred) IPC-610, IPC-620, J-Standard 001.
- Experience working in a quality-controlled environment (ISO).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly concepts, termination assembly, electro-Mechanical assembly, schematic reading, and testing equipment including multimeters, power supplies, load banks, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Lean manufacturing understanding and oral/written communication skills.
$42,500.00 - $56,600.00 (anticipated; compensation determined by factors such as location, regulations, education, experience, and skills).
