Gate Access Control Security Officer

Position Overview

Wage: $17.00/hour. Position type:
Full‑Time and Part‑Time. Shift: Second shift only, 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

• Perform gate access control duties, including checking vehicles in and out.
• Scan IDs and VINs.
• Conduct visual inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with visitors and drivers.
• Document and report incidents occurring on the property.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to two hours at a time.
• Able to write clear, detailed incident reports.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Security positions require you to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
