Position Overview

Position title:

Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist. Works at a Cox location (must be onsite). Hourly pay range $16.63 to $24.90, with possible commission or incentive components.

• Input vehicle information into AS400 using handheld device.
• Record VIN, stock number, dealer , make, model, year, mileage, color, options.
• Affix barcode/stock sticker on each vehicle.
• Associate Tracker device to WO#, install on OBD port or strap 2nd‑generation tracker.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles.
• Flag "no key" cars.
• Direct transporters to the appropriate drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Take digital image of vehicle upon receipt.
• Provide proper sale identification windshield code to driver through registration/check‑in area.
• Follow safety and health procedures and support safety activities.
• Assist on sale days by driving vehicles through auction lanes as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Physical abilities: stand, walk, reach, talk, hear; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb; lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision: clear close, distance, color, depth perception, focus adjustment.

Sunday 5:00am–2:00pm;
Monday–Thursday 11:00am–8:00pm.

Frequent outdoor exposure, moderate noise levels.
