Traffic Engineering Services – a Helix Company – has been in business for 20 years and is expanding our team. This is an in‑person position reporting to our Elkridge, MD yard before being transported to the worksite. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians on construction sites.
We offer entry‑level flagger training classes and advanced traffic control courses to advance your journey with us. Highway experience is a plus.
Duties- Direct traffic flow around construction sites, ensuring safety for both workers and the public.
- Monitor site conditions and report any hazards or issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth operations on site.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding traffic patterns and safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills to effectively direct traffic and coordinate with team members.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
