Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. This full‑time automotive mechanic position requires inspecting, diagnosing and performing a broad range of under‑car repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, state inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, part replacement, and tire dismount/mount/rotate/balance operations.

• Inspect, diagnose and repair customer vehicles.
• Perform under‑car repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks.

• Minimum 18 years of age and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Own personal tools for under‑car repairs.
• State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred.

Physical requirements:

Must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements. Must lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds on a regular basis.
