Position:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - All American Ambulance and Transport

Responds to select medical non-emergencies and inter-facility transfers, providing non-emergency medical care en route to or from hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. Adheres to all applicable guidelines and performs basic life support procedures based on certification level. Supports the development of the EMS system and maintains high-quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered EMT with MIEMSS and NREMT
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
• High integrity and responsibility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills with patients and team members
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver up to 125 pounds, walk stairs, and stand for long periods

Supervision and Responsibilities:

• Report to managers and supervisors for administrative and operational matters
• Coordinate with clinical staff for patient care and quality assurance

Key Duties:

• Ensure vehicle and equipment readiness for each shift
• Respond to emergencies and non-emergencies following all laws and policies
• Provide appropriate medical care and patient advocacy
• Maintain professional relations with all medical and safety personnel
• Complete documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in ongoing training and recertification
• Lead or assist in team situations as needed
• Uphold safety, professionalism, and community education standards
