Talent Manager, HR Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Employee Relations
Job Summary: The People Relations Partner (PRP) plays a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture. This HR role serves as a strategic advisor and case manager within Terumo’s HR service delivery model. This role partners with HR Business Partners and leadership to resolve complex associate relations issues, ensure compliance, and foster a culture aligned with Terumo’s values. The PRP manages investigations, policy interpretation, and proactive engagement strategies to mitigate risk and enhance organizational performance.
The PRP also plays a key role in shaping and delivering clear, consistent communication aligned with Terumo’s operating model and values.
- Advisory & Leadership Coaching, and Associate Communications – Serve as a trusted advisor to associates and leaders in the business, providing guidance on performance-related matters
- Complex Investigations & Case Management – Lead complex investigations and manage cases through resolution in partnership with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders
- Policy Development & Compliance – Analyze trends, update policies, ensure legal alignment across jurisdictions
- Performance Management Enablement – Guide HRBPs and managers
- Workforce Communications – Develop and deliver messaging for organizational changes and associate relations
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Partners with HRBP and Data Analytics to support HR analytics and metrics to help with HR data communications and for effective decision-making
- Training & Enablement – Provide guidance and occasional training to HRBPs and people managers, as required
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Work with Legal, Compliance, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align practices
- Conduct thorough investigations, synthesize findings, and produce legally sound reports and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, and Title VII.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR Centers of Excellence to align practices with regulatory and cultural standards.
Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in associate relations or HRBP roles.
- Proven experience leading complex investigations and advising leadership, with demonstrated ability to manage the full scope of employee relations responsibilities with precision, discretion, and strategic judgment.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification strongly preferred.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, pharma) is a plus.

The pay range is $87,000 - $120,0000 per year.
