About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated 3rd Shift Manufacturing Technician to join the Fabrics Membranes Team at our Cherry Hill facility. In this role, you will be joining an established team and ensuring we meet our operations objectives. You will be operating complex equipment and work collaboratively to ensure business needs are met. Standard hours will be 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Sunday through Friday.

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:
  • $19 - $32 per hour
  • This role is eligible for an additional $2/hr shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot complex process equipment with an emphasis on product quality
  • Practice and advocate for safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment
  • Follow work instructions, procedure guidelines, and other elements of the quality system
  • Perform detailed and accurate digital data entry
  • Work independently and communicate cross functionally with skilled trades and engineering
  • Understand and adhere to basic work instructions and procedures, while providing suggestions for improvement
  • Learn, practice, and support the Gore culture
  • Deliver and receive one-on-one objective feedback

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience operating and troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to follow and advocate for safety practices
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and execute detailed manufacturing processes and follow written procedures
  • Basic math and computer skills with ability to learn more advanced systems and manage computer files
  • Effective communications skills, both verbal and written, while working independently and in a team environment (ability to positively influence teammates)
  • Proven attention to detail with ability to focus on primary commitments while managing multiple priorities
  • Documentation and record keeping skills
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, and alternate between shifts to meet business needs, could include extended hours (10-12 hours per day)
  • Must be able to routinely lift/push/pull up to 35lbs several times over an 8-hour period; also stand for most of shift and climb steps as needed
  • Adapt to production schedule changes with the ability to shift to other production areas and facilities on short notice

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with in PTFE manipulation
  • Preventative maintenance experience on complex equipment
