Position Overview

Registered Nurse – Union Emergency Department – Part Time – 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. The emergency departments at Christiana Care’s Christiana Hospital, Wilmington Hospital, Union Hospital, and the free‑standing emergency department in Middletown, Delaware treat a combined total of more than 225,000 patients each year, making our doctors, nurses and support staff among the most experienced emergency medical professionals in the region.

Union Hospital Emergency Department on our Cecil Campus is a 27 bed Emergency Department in Cecil County, Maryland. The team seeks nurses who thrive in a fast‑paced environment with a thirst for knowledge and are comfortable caring for patients of all ages and populations. Nurses work closely with providers to ensure excellent quality of care and patient safety, requiring a flexible, team‑oriented approach.

• Current RN license in the state of Maryland or a compact state
• Associate’s Nursing Degree; BSN preferred
• Two years of experience required; acute care preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred – must obtain within one year of service
• CEN preferred

This position is scheduled for two shifts per week, each from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday requirements are per hospital practice. Hourly pay range is $41.28 – $66.05. Salaries within this range depend on skills, experience and qualifications.
