Quality Control Technician, 2nd Shift

• Inspect, test, and document in-process and finished products, materials, or components
• Follow Terumo Medical Corporation quality systems and applicable national/international regulations
• Perform visual, functional, and dimensional testing using appropriate instruments
• Perform mechanical, lubricity/durability, dimensional, and leak testing
• Inspect lot numbers, expiration dates, product codes, labels, and stamps for compliance
• Use computer systems to maintain traceability and document inspection results
• Initiate nonconformance reports and work with management and Quality to complete them
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Support test method validations, Engineering protocols, and Quality investigations
• Support rework activities and assist with product protocols, execution, and testing
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety and Quality System policies, programs, rules, and practices
• Consult with the Supervisor when questions or problems arise
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Laboratory test support preferred
• Ability to use testing equipment including calipers, micrometers, microscope, optical comparator, Instron, Laser Mic, and Lubricity Tester
• Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to notice trends and differences in raw data
• Logical thought process and decision-making ability for test acceptability decisions
• General computer skills
• Mathematical knowledge and aptitude, including algebra and sampling plans/statistical charts
• Ability to follow written test methods, protocols, and SOPs
• Ability to solve basic problems and recommend solutions

Demonstrates expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, including the use of testing equipment and adherence to regulatory standards. Proficient in documentation practices and capable of analyzing data trends to support product quality and compliance.
