Role Description The Sales Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Elkton, Maryland. This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and promoting TForce Freight’s LTL and logistics solutions to a designated territory or portfolio of customers. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting sales meetings and presentations, negotiating pricing and contracts, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
The role also involves building strong relationships with customers, coordinating with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality, and monitoring account performance to identify growth opportunities. The Sales Account Executive is expected to meet or exceed sales targets while representing TForce Freight in a professional and solutions-focused manner.
- Demonstrated skills in lead generation and prospecting to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
- Experience with account management and customer service to retain clients and support their ongoing needs.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities to present solutions, negotiate, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Proven success in sales or business development, preferably in freight, logistics, or transportation services.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements, develop tailored solutions, and use CRM tools to manage pipelines.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple accounts and activities.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for customer visits as needed.
