Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility alerts, disorderly conduct, and/or suspicious activity, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.;
Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization where required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in processes.;
Complete detailed incident reports and shift documentation, preserve observed facts, and communicate with site leadership and/or public responders when escalation is required.
