As a Receiver, you are responsible for safely, accurately and efficiently, counting and receiving product into the WMS systems for the process of selection and distribution to our customers.

• Properly and accurately receive product, free of damage, and turn in complete, legible, accurate paperwork.
• Check temperature of products and report any discrepancies.
• Check condition of pallets and exchange where necessary.
• Promptly report damage and all inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and repair of dock, and facility areas.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped and stacked for safe transport to storage.
• Load and unload product when required.
• Maintain all food safety, housekeeping, and other applicable standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience is a plus.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Handle and prioritize requests from multiple sources.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to use email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS and other applications.
• Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the member to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Independently lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Sit, stand, walk bend, squat on a frequent to continual basis in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Grasp, reach, push or pull (such as boxes of product, or a hand truck) on a frequent basis.
• Ability to build pallets up to 6 feet tall with case weights up to 50 pounds.
• Endurance for continuous, fast paced work.
• Fluctuating temperatures within the perishable DC including freezing temperatures as low as
  -20 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing, etc).
• Products may contain food allergens (such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.).
• Utilize equipment for the job safely and accurately after training (such as computer, handheld tracker, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, etc.).

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $27.90.
