Receiving Sanitation

PFG Customized is seeking a Receiving Sanitation associate to support safe, efficient food service distribution operations. In this role, you will inspect inbound products, clean and sanitize dock and storage areas, remove debris, and ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, and company standards. You'll operate basic material-handling equipment, document inspections, and work closely with warehouse and receiving teams. This safety-focused, fast-paced position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work a physical, team-oriented warehouse schedule.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize receiving docks, staging, and storage areas.
• Inspect inbound pallets and packaging for damage or contamination.
• Remove debris, shrink wrap, and waste; manage disposal per standards.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Support check-in of inbound product and basic documentation.
• Follow food safety, OSHA, and company sanitation procedures.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as trained.
• Wear required PPE and report hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate with warehouse and receiving teams to prioritize tasks.
• Maintain accurate sanitation and inspection logs.
