Job Summary
The Office of International Studies and Programs (OISP) at CWU is accepting applications to its lecturer pool for the University English as a Second Language Program (UESL) and the Asia University America Program (AUAP). The pool is used when full-time or part-time quarterly appointment UESL lecturer positions become available and/or when full-time or part-time AUAP lecturer positions become available for its fall (September-February) or spring (February-July) cycles.
Possible courses/subject areas are listed below. This list is not all inclusive: other courses/subject areas may become available within either program, including those for short-term programs, both online and in-person.

* Master's Degree in TESOL or related field
* Master's Degree in process will be considered for teaching in short-term programs

* Experience teaching in an academic intensive English language program
* Experience developing course materials
Pay & Work Schedule
Pay:
Based on the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the academic year will be as follows:
(a) Lecturer: $1,188 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $950 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
(b) Senior Lecturer: $1,307 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $1,044 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.

Additional Information:
This announcement will be used to develop a pool of applicants for positions in OISP's University English as a Second Language Program and Asia University America Program through March 2026. There is a possibility that selected applicants may be contacted on short notice to fill UESL lecturer vacancies on a quarter-by-quarter basis and/or AUAP lecturer positions for one of its two yearly cycles.
Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue as needed. The number of lecturer positions filled varies, depending upon the needs of the programs. Positions typically start at the beginning of an academic quarter or AUAP cycle. Your application will be maintained in this pool for consideration through March 2026.
