Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
- An OSPI successful background check through the FBI and WSP within the past two years.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students.
- Ability to work cooperatively with District and school staff as well as students.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and instructional materials devised by the classroom teacher.

Compensation: $180/Full Day
$90/Half Day
*** For applicants that do not have a Washington State teaching certificate but possess a BS/BA four-year degree, Emergency Substitute Certificates are available.
Compensation: $160/Full Day
$80/Half Day
** Substitutes working 21 or more consecutive days in the same assignment will be paid at a per diem rate (based on salary schedule placement) beginning on the 21st day.
