POSITION: CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE

LOCATION: ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
• An OSPI successful background check through the FBI and WSP within the past two years.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students.
• Ability to work cooperatively with District and school staff as well as students.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and instructional materials devised by the classroom teacher.

COMPENSATION: $180/Full Day

$90/Half Day

*** For appliants that do not have a Washington State teaching certificate but posess a BS/BA four-year degree, Emergency Substitue Certificates are availble.

COMPENSATION: $160/Full Day

$80/Half Day

** Substitutes working 21 or more consecutive days in the same assignment will be paid at a per diem rate (based on salary schedule placement) beginning on the 21 st day.
