Job Description
The Clinic Medical Assistant Apprentice is a KVH employee that is enrolled in a certified Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program. The Apprenticeship program is intended to last one-year with the majority of the work and learning happening on-site, under the guidance of a preceptor. It is an expectation that the Medical Assistant Apprentice will complete the program and take the Department of Health Certified Medical Assistant test and become licensed by the State of Washington.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR card for Healthcare Providers
- Current MA-R license from the Washington State Department of Health
- Current NAC license from the Washington State Department of Health
Will need prior to the program starting;
Resources are available from KVH.
Wage: Wage range currently starts at $20.16/hour and goes up to $30.55/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.
FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week
Benefits: This position is benefits eligible.
