Provides cardiopulmonary services to hospital patients and outpatients. Coordinates patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapies. Requires advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations. Advanced assessment skills required. Conducts non‑invasive cardiac and respiratory studies/tests. Coordinates and conducts special projects as assigned. Assists nursing staff with short‑term relief during high utilization times.
Qualifications What Is Required- Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license from the Washington State Department of Health
- Current CPR card (maintenance required)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
- NRP within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
- Work and/or educational experience that promoted group/team relationships
- Previous experience in the practice of respiratory care, including care specific to adult and pediatric acute care delivery.
- Previous experience in tertiary level respiratory care or geriatric respiratory care
Wage: Wage range will depend on applicable years of experience and level of license.
- CRT – $30.29/hour – $46.06/hour
- RRT – $33.21/hour – $48.98/hour
FTE: 0.9 (36 hours/week)
Shift: Typically 6:00 p‑6:30 a

Union Status: Dependent on licensure per below:
- CRT – This is a non‑covered position
- RRT – This is a Teamsters‑covered position
