Registered Nurse - Emergency Services - Part Time (12 hours/week) - Nights

- Hourly pay: $44.70–$79.60
The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating delivery of care. The RN is accountable for direct patient care and for supervising the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel. The RN assesses and plans for the educational needs of the patient and family that will contribute to the maintenance or restoration of health status on discharge.
As a member of the health team, the RN implements the nursing plan, coordinates with the medical plan, and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Professionalism is demonstrated by quality of care, leadership, and continued professional growth and development. Quality assurance endeavors, through process improvement initiatives, are implemented with the nursing team. Any RN in the hospital may be requested to float to other departments as patient needs dictate.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card (maintenance required)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
- PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
TNCC within 12 months of hire (maintenance required) - Emergency Severity Index training within 6 months
- One to two years of previous clinical experience in an appropriate nursing area
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
Wage range currently starts at $44.70 per hour and goes up to $79.60 per hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience. Shift differentials apply:
Evenings (3 p‑11 p) = $3.00 per hour;
Nights (11 p‑7 a) = 12% of hourly base rate;
Weekends = $3.50 per hour.
- FTE: 0.3 (12 hours per week)
- Shift: Primary 7:00 p‑7:30 a; shift day varies
