Responsibilities
The Patient Care Technician, after a supervised orientation, is responsible to an RN and/or another licensed professional. He/she delivers patient care within their scope of practice, in addition to routine certified nursing assistant and/or unit secretary duties, is trained to do basic rhythm interpretation, to use specialty equipment, and to assist in procedures.
Qualifications- Required: Basic Nursing Assistant class; current Washington State NAC license; current CPR card (maintenance required).
- Preferred: Six months experience as an NAC.
Wage range starts at $20.39/hour and goes up to $32.00/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience. This position is also eligible to receive additional compensation when working certain hours: evening shift (3 p – 11 p) = $2.50/hour; night shift (11 p – 7 a) = $3.50/hour; weekends = $4.00/hour.
Working HoursFTE: 0.6 (24 hours/week)
Shift: Primarily Nights; may include alternating weekends.
