As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Forklift Operator.

What We’re Looking For:

We are currently hiring a Seasonal Forklift Operator. As a Forklift Operator your main purpose would be to operate a forklift to move product from one location to another in racks and in free standing stacks. Other duties include loading and unloading trucks, railcars, and general labor (heavy duty). As a forklift operator you may drive in wet, dry or icy surfaces.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

Required:
  • Experience driving a forklift.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret data with great attention to detail.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
Required

Education:

Forklift experience or qualified to operate forklift machinery. Must be able to pass Twin City Foods forklift training program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical demanding work in a cold environment.
  • Load and unload trucks, rail cars with forklift and if needed by hand.
  • Move product from one location to another.
  • Put away incoming product in racks and in stacks to designated height.
  • Pre-pull orders for shipment.
  • Accurately count inbound and outbound finished and bulk product.
  • Stack and unstack 1700lb totes of frozen vegetables in a minus 5-degree cold storage warehouse.
  • Stack and unstack packaged vegetable cases on and off pallets (12 to 55lbs).
  • Set up lines in the morning and empty lines at the end of the shift.
  • General housekeeping of product, equipment, and facilities.
Heavy Duty Requires the Ability to:
  • Lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Climb equipment ladders to access upper equipment
  • Work with a conveyor belt system
  • Work in a temperature fluctuating environment (between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Other duties assigned.

Selected employee will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify
