Location: Liverpool, United Kingdom
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Working hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £32,625 per annum, plus company van and fuel card
Our housing teams provide rapid response and planned maintenance services for local authorities and registered providers, delivering over 5,000 repairs a day to more than 1,000,000 homes across the UK. We also offer services in regeneration, contact centre solutions, housing management, home improvement, facilities management, estate services grounds maintenance, student accommodation and new build.
About the RoleDue to contract expansion, we are seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team. The role involves repairs and refurbishment activities in occupied accommodation, delivering best-in-class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards. Tasks include general home repairs such as changing doors, taps, baths, fixing radiators and completing property inspections.
Role Criteria- Experience in carpentry
- Experience and knowledge in 3 trades
- NVQ level 2 or above in a core trade desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player but able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to travel

All roles require entitlement to work in the UK;

To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be aged over 21, hold licence for over 3 months and have fewer than 9 points.
As part of the recruitment process, DBS, BPSS and security clearance checks will be carried out. Required documents include proof of identity, proof of address, references, a valid passport and proof of UK residence for the last 5 years.
