Full Time, 8.30 - 5.00 Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 4.00 Friday.

The Candidate:
Must be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment. The candidate should be methodical, carrying out and supervising the throughput of a workshop which services industrial and contract customers.

* Minimum 2 year experience of working in a fast paced environment

* Effective organisational skills

* Attention to detail and a high standard of work

* Previously worked on distribution units and switch gear and knowledge of the construction industry is also desirable but not essential as training will be given

* NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation – or equivalent but not essential as training will be given

* BSth/18th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable but not essential as training will be given

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

* Assembling and testing a wide range of electrical plant such as MDA and various switch gear and site temporary electrical products.

* Technical supervisory knowledge so as to be able to work on own proficiently and carry out fault finding and service without supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.

* Comply with Company Health & Safety Policy including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
