The RoleRTL is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who can own multiple projects at once, bring clarity to fast-moving work, anticipate what the field and project partners need, and keep the right people moving in the same direction.
As RTL grows, this role can grow with it — with room to take on more responsibility, shape how projects are managed, and help build the next chapter of the company.
What You’ll Own- Project start-up through closeout.
- Field coordination and foreman communication.
- Work with operations manager to coordinate forecasting manpower requirements.
- Project schedules and cost tracking.
- Material planning, purchasing, and long-lead items.
- Lighting fixtures, lighting controls, switch gear, and related equipment.
- Permits, electrical inspections, and fire alarm inspections.
- Scope, pricing, safety requirements, and building rules.
- Change order estimating, supervision, and negotiation.
- GC, customer, vendor, operations, and accounting communication.
- O&M manuals, warranties, and closeout documents.
- Office deliveries when materials do not go directly to the jobsite, including forklift use when needed.
- 3-6+ years of project management experience.
- 2-4+ years of electrical estimating experience.
- Office-type tenant fit-out experience.
- Experience with EBM or other electrical estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures and lighting controls.
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Field electrician experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management.
- $130,000–$150,000 salary, based on experience.
- Annual bonus program up to $50,000.
