At Linwood Center, we’re looking for a Special Education Teacher who brings energy, compassion, and creativity into the classroom. • Create a positive, inclusive classroom where students can learn and grow
• Develop and deliver engaging, individualized lessons
• Lead and manage IEPs that support each student’s success
• Serve as a case manager, working closely with a collaborative team of specialists and support staff
• Support students in building life, community, and vocational skills
• Partner with families to support student progress
• Guide and support classroom assistants to create a strong team environment

• We provide CPR certification
• We provide Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training
• Ongoing support and guidance from supervisors to help you grow and succeed in your role

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Maryland Special Education teaching license
• Experience in special education is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• A passion for supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
