Wireless Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support concept development, prototype design, and solutions ideation for next‑generation network capabilities
• Oversee research, design, planning, integration, and evaluation of advanced wireless and high‑speed transport technologies
• Translate customer needs and strategic objectives into actionable architectures and prototype implementations of new and novel solutions
• Conduct in‑depth assessments of customer requirements
• Perform network modeling and simulation activities
• Evaluate and optimize performance
• Provide technical consulting to define solution requirements to optimize for mission application needs
• Mentor emerging engineers

• Experience designing, integrating, and developing advanced wireless network capabilities using flexible software architectures and commercial off the shelf hardware
• Knowledge of how applications, transports, and mission services interact across contested and bandwidth‑limited environments
• Knowledge of military radio waveforms, transport, communications planning systems, and mission critical networking systems including interoperability across heterogeneous transports, routing frameworks, tactical‑edge networks, and government mission systems supporting the Department of War
• Ability to work in Agile development environments with continuous integration and Dev Sec Ops  practices that enable rapid prototyping, iterative refinement, and accelerated delivery of fieldable wireless networking capabilities
• Ability to establish trust, communicate effectively, and maintain strong relationships with clients, mission operators, network stakeholders, and technical partners to ensure alignment between operational networking needs and technical designs or capability roadmaps
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
