CACi is seeking a Junior Cyber Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Join a team that tackles complex, multi-disciplinary problems spanning cybersecurity, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. You will have the opportunity to learn and explore new topics while leveraging your existing skills.

• Contribute to a team that works hands‑on with state‑of‑the‑art electronics.
• Perform basic investigation, evaluation, and application of techniques in support of the team’s work on new technologies.

Required:

• Active Top‑Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
• BS in a related discipline and 2‑4 years of directly related experience.
• Experience working in and with a Linux OS environment.
• Basic knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic systems.
• Familiarity with a coding/programming language such as Python, Java, or
  
  C.
• Experience with command line interfaces such as the Linux terminal.
• Understanding of networking topics such as IP addressing and subnetting as well as common protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, FTP, etc.) and technologies (ethernet, Wi‑Fi, etc.).
• Understanding of interfaces such as serial, USB, and ethernet.

Desired:

• Experience with penetration testing or threat hunting and related tools.
• Knowledge of file systems and file system structure.
• Familiarity with Android OS and mobile device debugging techniques.
• Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal/power analyzers, and multimeters.
• Experience with SDRs (HackRF, Ettus, etc.) and GNURadio.
• Soldering experience.
• Experience with unmanned systems such as UAS, UGV, and USV.
