Salary Range
$90,220 - $140,000
OverviewHelp the Navy modernize aircraft navigation systems with the latest GPS technologies.
Essential Job Functions- Work independently and as part of a team to evaluate vendor and government-led integrations for upgrading GPS navigation systems with the latest multi-frequency technologies.
- Review software and hardware requirements, design documentation, test plans, test procedures, and other technical documentation.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, minimum 8 years of experience, at least 3 years of experience supporting aircraft avionics integrations of GPS navigation systems, preferably into military aircraft.
- Good written and oral communications.
- Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams.
- Familiar with NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review processes.
- Familiar with Navy acquisition regulations and processes.
- Master's degree in aeronautical, systems, electrical, or computer engineering.
