Structural Engineer

Overview

Actalent is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4 years of structural building design experience and a degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering. Candidates will be preparing full sets of construction drawings (5‑50 drawings) for permit submittals, coordinating with other skill sets, and using AutoCAD and/or Revit, RAM, RISA, Staad, Multiframe, Tedds, Enercalc, and other structural software. Our client’s projects range from residential homes and communities to office buildings, educational facilities, medical facilities, parking garages, and more.

PE certification is required.

• Prepare full sets of construction drawings (5‑50 drawings) for permit submittals.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project completion.
• Use AutoCAD and/or Revit, RAM, RISA, Staad, Multiframe, Tedds, Enercalc, and related software for design and analysis.
• Work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, educational, medical, and parking facilities.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes.

• Four years of structural building design experience.
• Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with emphasis on Structural Design.
• PE certification required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, RAM, RISA, Staad, Multiframe, Tedds, and Enercalc.
• Strong analytical and design skills for structural engineering projects.

Intermediate Level

Permanent position based in Sparks Glencoe, MD. Fully onsite.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 – $150,000 per year.
