We are working with a leading general contractor who is looking to hire a skilled MEP Construction Project Manager with experience managing large-scale commercial projects
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP systems, with the ability to lead coordination efforts and manage the full lifecycle of complex building projects.

This is a great opportunity for a results-driven project manager to work on high-profile developments with a well-established team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all MEP scopes on large commercial construction projects from preconstruction through close-out.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking for MEP systems.
  • Lead value engineering efforts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and commissioning activities.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and maintain progress.
  • Ensure all MEP installations comply with code requirements, specifications, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Proven track record managing MEP scopes on large-scale commercial projects (e.g., high-rise, hospitals, data centers, campuses, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and coordination models.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with BIM/VDC coordination processes.
  • Familiarity with LEED, commissioning protocols, and energy-efficient system design.
