Civil Engineer
Join a dynamic team as a Civil Engineer with 3-5 years of experience. This role involves creating grading, erosion/sediment control plans, and designing water/sewer and storm drain systems. You will work on commercial and industrial site plans for residential subdivisions, K-12, and commercial/industrial developments. There is potential for client interface during design review and permit processing.
Responsibilities- Develop grading, erosion, and sediment control plans.
- Design water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
- Create commercial and industrial site plans for various developments.
- Interface with clients for design review.
- Assist in permit processing.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Experience in land development or stormwater management design.
Skills & Qualifications
- Permitting experience in the local or surrounding counties is a plus.
- EIT certification is heavily preferred but not required.
This is a fully on-site position with potential for hybrid flexibility once the candidate is well-acquainted with their responsibilities. The work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, including an hour for lunch. The firm is a small, collaborative team of 20-25 people, established in 1978, offering a unique opportunity for individualized mentorship and professional growth. The firm is expanding its scope into surrounding counties and West Virginia, supported by a healthy backlog of work.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ellicott City, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
