Reviews subdivision and site development plans for conformity to local zoning and land development regulations and the appropriate State/County legislation. Analyzes and compiles data for alternative compliance requests. Writes and presents Technical Staff Reports to the Planning Board. Performs duties as necessary to support review of land development applications.
Starting Salary Hiring Range
$30.31 - $34.20

Class Description
Performs professional level planning and zoning work under general supervision from an administrative or technical superior. Work includes compiling data of factors affecting land use, transportation, water and sewer, or environmental planning for the County; analyzing data collected; and projecting future conditions and needs.

Reviews subdivision plans and site development plans for compliance with the Subdivision and Land Development regulations, the Zoning Regulations, the Landscape Manual, the Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance and the Forest Conservation Act.
Serves as project manager for assigned environmental concept plans, subdivision plans, site development plans and alternative compliance petitions. Compiles the review comments generated by the various agencies of the Subdivision Review Committee and determines the appropriate plan status. Prepares and forwards recommendations for plan action by the Department.
