System Engineer; level 2 Security Clearance

Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Administrator serves as the SME for on premise identity and Access Management (IAM) platform which in this case is MIM (Microsoft Identity Manager).

• MIM Engine Management – Direct oversight of the MIM Synchronization Service including configuration of Management Agents (MAs) like AD, SQL, file‑based extensions and LDAP sources.
• Identify Lifecycle Automation – Understanding the "Joner‑Mover‑Leaver" process to ensure automated provisioning and de‑provisioning across the internal network.
• Declarative Provisioning – Maintaining Synchronization rules and attribute flow within the MIM Portal and Sync Engine.
• Custom Extension Development – Debugging custom DLLs using C#/.NET for complex logic that can't be handled by standard rules.
• Data Reconciliation – Conducting regular audits to ensure identity data in the Metaverse matches authoritative sources and downstream sources.
• OS/DB Patching & Maintenance.
• App Patching & Upgrades.
• Configuration Changes.
• Troubleshooting, correction, restore as needed.
• Maintain Data Integrity and Data Flow between MIM/FIM.
• Advanced Power Shell scripting (including use of MIMWAL – the MIM Workflow Activity Library).
• SQL Server Administration – connect to SQL instances/databases for MIM objects (FIMService, FIMSync) and perform backups.
• Windows Server Infrastructure – general knowledge of AD DS, DNS, Group Policy.
• C#/.NET – write and maintain custom code for Rules Extensions and workflow activities.
• Flat file integration handling (learning ability required if not experienced).

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional System Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• CWIP/C2Q Level II required within 90 days of start date.

Position requires TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
