Software Integration Engineer (All Levels) - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance

Software Integration Engineer (Levels 1–3)EMTAK is hiring multiple Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) / Software Integration Engineers to support a rapidly growing Intelligence Community program.
We are seeking engineers with a strong Linux background to support mission operations infrastructure and software integration. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux system administration, automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving system reliability in mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities- Support mission operations infrastructure and software integration
- Develop and maintain automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency solutions
- Troubleshoot customer environments, software integrations, and operational issues
- Perform Linux system administration and operational support
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards and system metrics
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency
Note: Candidates should expect to spend up to 50% of their time initially performing Linux system administration while becoming familiar with the mission environment and infrastructure.
Required Technical Skills- Strong Linux system administration experience with RHEL, Rocky Linux, CentOS, SLES, and Ubuntu
- Scripting experience with Python and Bash (C experience is a plus)
- Infrastructure automation using Ansible and Salt
- Monitoring and alerting using Nagios, Thruk, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Experience supporting Splunk dashboards and log analysis
- Version control using Git Bucket or Git
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slurm
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Passion for automation and continuous improvement
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving mission requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- Experience supporting Linux-based enterprise, production, or mission environments
