AI Systems Engineer; SE-in Ellicott

Job Description

Leidos offers an opportunity for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Systems Engineer in the Intelligence Sector's (INTEL) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The role supports the LOE program and focuses on rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research to provide mission solutions. The engineer will build agentic AI solutions that automate research, analysis, reporting, and data workflows while creating intuitive interfaces for Knowledge Graphs.

Experience with AWS cloud services, data migration, analytics, statistical techniques, technical targeting, and interactive data visualization is a strong plus.

• Mission Focus
  :
  Collaborate with customers to bridge advanced AI capabilities, data engineering, and user experience design. Develop agentic AI workflow automations for data pipelines, research & analysis, and automated reporting.
• Technical Proficiency
  :
  Configure and manage AWS services, migrate data into AWS-hosted databases, and support scalable cloud-based solutions. Develop analytics capabilities, apply statistical analysis, and leverage technical targeting methodologies.
• Qualifications
  :
  Bachelor's degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience or equivalent. Proficiency in object‑oriented programming (JAVA, JavaScript, Python) and experience with Jupyter Notebooks.
• Security Clearance
  :
  Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Desirable Skills
  :
  Create interactive visualizations that transform complex data science insights into actionable intelligence for end users and decision‑makers.
