ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Security Engineer to join ourteam at Blossom Point Tracking Facility (BPTF) in Welcome, MD.

The Sr Prin Systems Security Engineer will:

• Lead the technical team that will support integration of new missions into the baseline, planning system upgrades, resolving issues and adding new capabilities to the infrastructure.
• Primary interface with the Cyber Security team with regard to submitting network packages for Authority To Operate accreditations
• Use standard requirements definition processes for new and/or expanded projects
• Identify and manage risks on new and existing projects
• Conduct trades studies on new technologies for ground system architecture
• Create and update wiring diagrams, flow charts, and other documentation
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for ground system issues
• Use test equipment such as Oscilloscope or Spectrum Analyzer
• Assist RF Technical Team w/upgrades and troubleshooting of large aperture antennas

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field, and 15 years of experience OR 20 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with satellite command and control systems. Satellite/spacecraft ground systems knowledge including RF, radio frequency, digital signal, etc.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with cryptographic equipment and networks i.e. KG7, KG17, KG777
• Use test equipment such as Oscilloscope or Spectrum Analyzer

• Current Active Secret clearance mandatory. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
