Assists physicians and nursing staff in the care of patients. Performs various patient care activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Nursing visits for biologics injection teaching
- Assisting with medication authorizations
- Patient assistance program forms for biologics
- Suture removals
- Administer phototherapy treatment
- Assist with in basket messages for specialty clinics
- Patch testing placement
- Facilitation and database maintenance and monitoring of infusions and biologics/specialty medications
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Requires valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Excellent customer service and communication skills. One or more years of related experience. CPR certification is required.
