Community Care Licensed Vocational Nurse Day Shift

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Float Pool – Levindale – Baltimore

Location: Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift 7:00 am – 7:30 pm

Pay: New competitive LPN rates effective September 2025, with a $6.00 per hour float differential.

• Deliver skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing.
• Conduct patient assessments, gather and document relevant data, and complete admission data per policy.
• Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition or diagnostic findings to the RN and interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver direct patient care in alignment with nursing care plans and established clinical standards.
• Identify and document patient and family cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Participate in unit meetings, quality initiatives, and professional development activities.
• Float to assigned units as directed, demonstrating adaptability and strong communication skills.
• Assist in maintaining unit operations and may assume leadership responsibilities as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Maryland LPN license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience; experience in post‑acute, rehab, or long‑term care preferred.
