Overview
Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks is hiring head tennis coaches for youth and adult tennis classes, located at various county parks. We are currently seeking a head coach for fall, spring and summer classes. Fall, spring, and summer classes will run weekday afternoons from 4pm-9pm and weekends varying between the hours of 8am-6pm. Fall classes will run September - November.
Spring classes will run April – June. Summer class will run June-August. Candidates must be reliable, mature, courteous, professional and have knowledge/experience playing or instructing tennis. Must have good communication skills, be comfortable working with children and be able to work flexible evening and weekend hours.
You are applying for the Head Coach position, you must be at least 16 years of age, salary $18-$32 hr. depending on experience. Tennis certification preferred.
