Part-Time Academic Tutor

Ellington Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and organized Part-Time Academic Tutor to support students at Ellington Middle School. The successful candidate will provide academic assistance for Grade 7 and Grade 8 mathematics. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with middle school students and helping them achieve academic success.

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide instructional support in middle school mathematics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced school environment.
• Strict confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting is preferred.

Hours:

Monday - Friday: 10:46-2:22pm. This is an at-will, school-year position, with hours worked only on days when school is in session.
