Soldering Technician

Location:

Ellington, CT
Contract to Hire

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Requirements:

• Soldering experience with electronic components, including flux, tinning, and proper temperature control.
• Ability to use a chemical agent to strip wire.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use a multimeter.
• Strong hand dexterity and ability to work carefully with very small, detailed components.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, assembly prints, and wiring diagrams.
• Commitment to quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance.
• IPC certification or familiarity with electronic soldering standards is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Hand solder wires, terminals, connectors, circuit boards, and small electronic components.
• Assemble precision sensor and transducer products according to work instructions, prints, and quality standards.
• Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship, and defects.
• Use hand tools including soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, tweezers, and measuring tools.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Report assembly or soldering issues to supervision or quality personnel.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Assist with additional assembly, testing, inspection, and production duties as needed.

Pay Rate: $20/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
