- Comply with State policies, including security and confidentiality protocols.
- Work with clients over the phone to assist with eligibility questions.
- Assist clients with reporting, eligibility, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate approved client services.
- Code, compute, verify, post, reconcile, and update standard documents.
- Update case records and complete documentation requirements.
- Inform supervisor of emergency trends in service needs.
- Provide clients with information about how to apply for benefits.
- Confirm receipt of documents from clients.
- Replace various cards that clients use to access benefits.
- Provide information about resources to clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates:
- Competency in applying the principles and practices of quality customer service to assist the public with applications, fees, examinations, or social services that have eligibility or compliance components.
- Ability to use independent decision‑making on appropriate processes, information to process, and actions to take in accordance with standard procedures.

- Excel or comparable spreadsheet applications.
- MS Word or comparable word processing applications.
- Receptionist or customer assistance by phone.
