Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Ellsworth

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated seasonal Automotive Detailer. This position pays $18 per hour and is located at 436 High Street, Ellsworth, ME 04605.

The seasonal window begins on or after May 1st and ends on or before October 31, 2026. The role cannot exceed 180 days and requires availability of 40 hours per week, including Mondays and Fridays, with additional days as needed. Branch operating hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and availability must fit within these times.

• Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards.
• Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle’s exterior, including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Wear proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensure cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations.
• Site appearance responsibilities include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location.

• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Seasonal employees may work for up to 180 days during a defined season (full time or part time). They must experience a three‑month break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or a regular employee.
