- Lead and guide the classroom with expertise, ensuring successful implementation of individualized Behavior Plans for students.
- Provide immediate intervention in moments of dysregulation, ensuring a safe and constructive learning environment.
- Collaborate with staff to develop solution-focused strategies and deliver constructive feedback to ensure the well-being of both students and staff.
- Help create a positive start to the day by leading morning routines with the children and documenting daily behaviors.
- Stay informed on Maine Department of Education regulations (Chapter 33) and manage restraint and seclusion procedures in line with internal policies, meeting all required timelines.
- A commitment to making a difference in the lives of students with behavioral and emotional needs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Experience in behavior management and working in a therapeutic setting.
- Proficiency in maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.
- Work in an environment that values professional growth and offers extensive training.
