Kids Peace Graham Lake School
Kids Peace Graham Lake School is a special purpose private school serving children pre‑k through high school with developmental disabilities and emotional disorders. It is an intensive, collaborative program operating year‑round. Students receive individualized educational and behavioral services from a team of clinical and educational professionals.
Position OverviewKids Peace is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and creative Special Education Teacher to join our Graham Lake School in Ellsworth. The role offers experience with best practices, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to make a positive impact on children’s lives.
If you are a creative, energetic, certified teacher apply today! Qualifications- Experience working with children with developmental and/or emotional disabilities
- Behavior intervention and management skills
- Successful instructional strategies and teaching skills for both 1:1 and small group instruction
- Supervision of support staff
- 282 or 286 DOE certification or documentation from the DOE that the candidate is certified in K‑8, or willing to obtain 282 or 286 certification (K‑6 also acceptable)
