Occupational Therapy Services In School Setting

Step into an exciting opportunity this summer providing occupational therapy services within a dynamic school setting. This contract position is designed for professionals eager to make a meaningful impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. You'll work with students across grades K-12, supporting their development and functional skills as they prepare for continued academic success.

This ESY assignment runs through July, with two mornings each week to fit your preferred schedule (Tuesdays through Thursdays, pick your days!).

• Current OT licensure and registration to practice in the state
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations in school environments
• Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress tracking
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, students, and families
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy approaches is highly valued

• Provide individualized and group OT interventions for K-12 students during ESY
• Assess students' needs, adapting therapeutic techniques as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff for seamless integration of therapy into classroom routines
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
• Support students' goals for independence, access, and participation in school activities
