Overview
Ellsworth High School has an opening for a dynamic Science Teacher to join our team. The primary course for this anticipated opening will be the ninth-grade Integrated Science course. This course introduces students to physics (force and motion), earth science, space, and ecology, preparing them for advanced science courses. The position will also teach an upper-level science elective.
ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a candidate who uses inquiry-based learning experiences to integrate scientific skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving into their daily instruction. You will work closely with fellow Freshman Team members to ensure consistency in instructional expectations, teaching strategies, and assessment practices across the grade level.
QualificationsThe candidate must hold, or be able to obtain, either a certification in Life Science (395) or Physical Science (350).
