Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Hampton Inn Ellsworth

Are you an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team and takes pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces for guests? We’re seeking a Full-Time Year-Round Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at the Hampton Inn Ellsworth.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department and help ensure our guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Hampton Inn and Witham Family Hotels standards. You’ll support the housekeeping team through training, coaching, inspections, scheduling, and day-to-day operations while helping create a positive and productive work environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced hotel environment. Status: Full-Time, Year-Round
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week; shifts vary and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Help lead, train, coach, and support housekeeping team members
• Assist with creating schedules and adjusting staffing based on hotel occupancy and business needs
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards
• Follow up on room deficiencies and work with the housekeeping team to address issues promptly
• Help coordinate daily assignments and ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for arriving guests
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment and communicate inventory needs to the Housekeeping Manager
